Recognising the challenges facing the livestock industry, including the spread of prolific diseases, falling prices, the change in consumer demands and legislative constraints, IfA's Livestock department aims to act as a supportive body for UK livestock farmers ensuring that they are aware of the most up to date research, innovation and best practices, to allow them to farm profitably and sustainably into the future.
The team have a huge array of experience and knowledge and are currently focussing (but not limiting) their work into three main areas. These areas are Antibiotic Resistance, Precision Livestock Farming, and on-farm Demonstration Events
